Worksheet 03

A simple cost worksheet

Keep one currency throughout. Enter actual quotes, renewal dates, and billing periods. Separate cash you pay now from monthly equivalents. This is a spending plan; it does not forecast sales or profit.

Completed hypothetical example, USD: $0 setup equipment + $18 annual domain paid now + $0 platform subscription = $18 cash due now. Monthly equivalent of that domain is $18 ÷ 12 = $1.50. Payment fees are excluded until a provider and transaction type are chosen. These are practice numbers, not provider prices.

Calculate by hand: cash due now = sum of the first amount column. Monthly equivalent = recurring monthly costs + annual recurring costs ÷ 12. Keep one-time equipment out of recurring totals. Do not add the monthly equivalent to cash due now; that would count some expenses twice.

Keep the useful bit. Take the next step.
